Wolfscote Dale - Peak District Walk

When I did this walk in April I decided to write it up for the two magazines I write for so today's trip back to Wolfscote Dale was planned as a quick dash round just to make notes for the walk and I nearly didn't take my camera with me. it might only be a few months since I was last here but it was amazing how different the dales looked compared to my previous visit in April.

Start: Milldale car park (SK 1361 5478)

Route: Milldale car park - Alstonefield - How Narrowdale - Wolfscote Dale - Milldale car park

Distance: 6.75 miles     Ascent: 347 metres      Time Taken: 3 hours

Terrain: Good paths, one steep ascent.

Weather: Warm and sunny.

Mill Dale
